TK Maxx – Festive Farm
The challenge
Leverage TK Maxx’s unique proposition in the context of people having less to spend this Christmas
What we did
Celebrating the Christmas season, we created a campaign starring an iconic crew of chic farm animals, strutting their stuff to an R&B classic in “Festive Farm”.
As the intro of Eve and Gwen Stefani’s early noughties hit Let Me Blow Ya Mind begins to play, we see a series of animals catwalking through the snow, clad in stylish new Christmas gifts. First out the barn doors into the snowy scene is a turtle neck-wearing alpaca busking a crossbody bag, swiftly followed by a pair of ducks rocking Harry Styles-inspired pearls, an elegant silk scarf and a suave pink bow tie. Bringing up the rear is an irresistibly cute hedgehog scurrying out into the cold in a cosy pink cashmere wooly hat, and the iconic “lil goat” makes its return from the 2020 TK Maxx Christmas campaign, joining the stylish winter parade. The “Spoil all your loved ones for less” ad closes with an alpaca, smelling a divine designer candle.
The campaign also features TK Maxx’s festive Christmas Bear in the hands of the couple’s young granddaughter. The Bear is part of TK Maxx’s range of 2023 Christmas charity gifts, which support the Prince’s Trust and this year’s collection is dedicated to the invaluable work of The Prince’s Trust and helping to transform the lives of young people across the UK.
The film demonstrates that TK Maxx has something for everyone (even your lil’ goat) and consumers can enjoy big brands and great quality at amazing value.
