Piña Colada, anyone?

On the official start of summer, Malibu is shining a spotlight on the classic Piña Colada cocktail with a modern take on ‘Escape (The Piña Colada Song)’ from pop music and social media star Jax.

Malibu’s collaboration with Jax re-captures the 1979 classic’s summer spirit, originally made famous by Rupert Holmes, while reimagining the song for a modern audience. Blending ‘70s and ‘80s nostalgia against the backdrop of a Piña Colada-themed celebration, the film, directed by Drew Kirsch, embodies the essence of what it means to escape while still embracing the summer mindset that’s all about carefree fun, sunny optimism and doing what you truly love.

Nike brings it Home at D&AD awards

Home, Nike’s celebratory campaign to mark England’s Lionesses winning the 2022 UEFA Women’s Euros, picked up a Yellow Pencil award at this year’s D&AD awards. The Pencil is “awarded only to outstanding work that achieves true creative excellence” according to D&AD, and we picked up the accolade in the tactical branding category. Huge congratulations to Nike and the W+K team (and the Lionesses, of course)!
