Since 2014, we’ve raised much needed funds for the brilliant St Joseph’s Hospice with our annual Cheryl’s Walk, a 10km trek across east London.

This May we set ourselves what seemed like an impossible task; to collectively walk 25 million steps from our Hanbury Street office to New Zealand, Cheryl’s birth place. Every step in remembrance of our dearly missed friend and in aid of St Joseph’s Hospice, who cared so brilliantly for Cheryl.

This year’s walk wasn’t just about fundraising, it was about getting away from laptops, logging off from Zoom and taking some time outside to support our mental well-being. After a year of WFH, the importance of getting outside and enjoying nature was more relevant than ever.

We battled with unpredictable weather (mostly rain), busy working days and Covid restrictions but we did it! We collectively walked just over 27 million steps.

As well as sponsorship received from friends and family we held our annual raffle and auction, with items donated by local businesses, friends and family, our wonderful employees and clients – raising just over £21,000. Our best year to date.

Special mention goes to ECD Tony Davidson, who gallantly shaved off his silver flowing locks live on Zoom – raising a whopping £10,000.
