Welcome to Optimism

W+K created a new global campaign for Babbel

Ever imagined yourself learning French and speaking it as fluently and poetically as they do in French films? Our new campaign for language learning app Babbel kicks off with two TV-spots revealing the fantasy language scenarios of two Babbel learners.
W+K - Babbel 5
We teamed up with Babbel to launch an extensive new branding campaign that showcases the core strengths of the Babbel App – to help people speak a new language quickly and like they’ve always wanted to.
W+K | Babbel 4
Through its extensive selection of language courses developed by expert linguists, and with its focus on authentic conversations and guided learning, the two TV-spots show the Babbel learners being part of the story. Rather than standing on the sidelines, the Babbel learner uses his or her newfound language ability to become part of the action and to become part of a foreign world.
While the the English and French spots are airing globally, only the French TV spot has aired in the UK (bien sûr!).
Au revoir.

Stay strong with Arla Protein

We’ve got our autumn exercise plans licked here at W+K. We’re taking inspiration from our first TV work for Arla Protein: strengthening our core by maintaining a plank pose whilst being licked, pawed and generally bothered by a pesky canine.
The spot, directed by The Bobbsey Twins from Homicide was shot in our back garden AKA Victoria Park and goes live on Monday 3rd October.
Arla Protein is faff-free protein for everyone and our ‘stay strong’ campaign has always aimed to puncture the bombastic and somewhat agressive tonality of other brands in the fitness sector. This film is no exception and takes inspiration the OOH executions we’ve produced for the brand since January 2015.

We’ve also cut a cheeky YouTube version designed to highlight the dangers of ‘skipping’ the things in life that challenge us. The viewer’s reward, as well as getting an eyeful of the full Arla Protein range, is more time with Kiva, the well-trained mutt who steals the show in both films.

Stay strong out there.
