Nike posters get pride of place in London installation

To celebrate the launch of our World Cup poster project for Nike , which honours the fiercest footballers in the world, we created a public-facing installation on the streets of East London.

Based in W+K London’s window exhibition space and running for the duration of the World Cup, the Nike team dreamed up the nation’s most inspirational girl’s bedroom, proudly plastered wall-to-wall with all 94 designs from Nike’s poster and sticker series.

In the spirit of the project, passers-by are encouraged to take posters and stickers to share with girls, to inspire a new generation of athletes.

Visit the window and pick up your free posters at 16 Hanbury St, E1 6QR until July 7.

Katy Edelsten exhibits at Royal Academy

Super talented W+K creative Katy Edelsten is exhibiting her work ‘Self Portrait’ as part of The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.

The artwork, which is on display in Galley VII until Aug 12, was selected from more than 16,000 entries by the committee, including Jock McFadyen, Anne Desmet and Barbara Rae.

‘Self Portrait’, photographed by Catrine Haland, is a clay sculpture of a pink prawn in a bath having a paper drink and a think about the state of the world. The piece has already sold out, but if you fancy seeing more of Katy’s work, head over to www.katyedelsten.com.
