We popped down to the Nokia World conference this week and demoed a bit of fun we've been working on called Paint Wall. Though it's only a simple little app, we displayed it on the biggest screen we could find – a 6m by 3m wall of LED lights.
The app allows you to play with digital paint in a variety of ways: You can "tap" paint using the touchscreen. You can "throw" paint using the amazingly accurate compass and the accelerometer. And you can "spit" paint using the device's microphone.
Oh, and you can also throw photos as well as paint. Paint Wall is a project that we've been working on with Greyworld.

Professor Daniel Fletcher has created the CellScope – a microscopic device which, when attached to the Nokia N8 handset, produced life-saving technology. With his invention, he has helped diagnose fatal diseases in remote areas of developing countries.
Below is 'Dot', a film we created for Nokia in partnership with Aardman Animations, which is shot entirely on the N8 using CellScope technology – and features a tiny 9mm girl. Dot is, we believe, the smallest-ever stop-motion animated character in a film.

Lady Bna-nas, Madcheeze and Introcept are street artists from Australia. But for the 2009 Push N900 competition (run by our friends over at Hyper www.54321hyper.com), they were known as the Light Hack Crew. They love graffiti but they also share a passion for technology. So they created an electronic spray can and hooked it up to a Nokia N900. The spray can creates an LED light source and the hacked N900 captures the beautiful time-lapse images.
