before a bank holiday weekend. Not only is Neil away. IT'S ALSO LAUNCH OF THE
WK TROLLEY DAY.

It will appear every so
often. Different days. Different times. Pushed by different
people.

Today: It's a Friday PM. It's
nearly bank holiday. So some drinks are in order. Ronny and Leanne are in
charge.

(thank you Maximus). Let's all pretend we're
in Mad Men and drinking in the office is once more acceptable. Next time it could be
Tony and Kim doling out tea and kit kats. Or Kirsten's amazing
cakes. Or Paul Colman and his stand
up.

W+K WINS AT CANNES, BRITISH ARROWS AND EFFIES 2012

This summer, Wieden + Kennedy has been named Agency of the Year and Independent Agency of the Year at the 2012 Cannes International Festival of Creativity. The Cannes Festival is the world’s biggest celebration of creativity in communications. As the most prestigious international advertising awards, more than 24,000 entries are made from all over the world are showcased and judged.

Honda was announced 2012 Advertiser of Excellence award at this year’s British Arrow awards. We also won two ‘Golds’ for our work on Cravendale. British Arrows was established in 1976. They recognize and reward the best television, online, outdoor and cinema commercials made by British advertising agencies and production companies.

We have also been awarded the Effies Grand Effie winner for the second year in a row for Wieden+Kennedy and Chrysler’s “Imported from Detroit “(best in show) The Gold Global Effie went to Nike's “Write The Future” campaign .The winner emerged from a pack of 10 finalists which vied for the top prize at the 44th annual Effie Awards.
