Keeping shtum

One of our creatives here at W+K kept very quiet about a certain three-page interview he did for the latest volume of Lürzer’s Archive.

Ben Polkinghorne talked to the publication about all things digital, his advertising career, his accolades and even included a whole host of digital work that he found incredibly interesting…..which featured some of his own of course.

Wieden+Kennedy wins Sainsbury’s ad account

Following a competitive pitch Sainsbury’s has moved its £60m advertising account into Wieden & Kennedy, ending its 35-year-relationship with Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO.

All of us at W+K London are absolutely bloody delighted to have won the pitch and very much looking forward to working with the Sainsbury’s team.

Sarah Warby, marketing director at Sainsbury’s, said: “I’d like to thank AMV BBDO for the enormous contribution they’ve made to our business over many years.This was a very difficult decision but we felt it was important to get a fresh perspective and I’m delighted to welcome W&K to Sainsbury’s.”
