Rather than have clients wade ankle-deep in the raw sewage flowing freely through our flooded basement, which is where the meeting rooms are, we hired some space on Friday at the Energy Clnic, round the corner on Commercial Street. It’s an unusual combination of new age spa and meeting facility.

We were in the Fire Room, with our Visa clients.

Simultaneously sorted out some of the planning for our World Cup campaign and cleansed our auras.

Agency folks caught a few rays, downed a few cool drinks and chewed on the charred meat.

Kate, Bronwen and Nicholla. Bron and Nich were swapping baby stories – Nicholla just came back to work  from maternity leave, while Bronwen is about to come back from hers.
Long months  of noise, disruption and building work went into putting the extra floor on top of the building (and a few quid) but it all felt worthwhile when we could sit out in the sun, have a beer and look out across the London skyline.
