Business travel has never been a lot of fun. That excellent United Airlines campaign from Fallon gets it pretty much spot-on for me.
But with the new security restrictions it’s getting beyond a joke. Checking in 2 1/2 hours before departure. Queueing an hour for the ‘fast’ bag drop. Not being able to take just hand luggage for an overnight trip (because you can’t take shaving stuff and deodorant on the plane.) Time to invest in video-conferencing facilities? But video conferences are always so crap and weird and stilted. They’re even more awkward than teleconferences. Someone needs to invent a webcam based videoconferencing product that works. Or have they already done so?

– we need to be better at recycling office supplies and conserving energy. (Guy volunteered to become W+K eco-warrior.)

– how big can we get and still be good?

Didn’t necessarily solve any of these but we’re thinking about them.
