Caught on security camera: renegade revellers sample the Shoreditch House rooftop pool on the night of the W+K summer party. Fully clothed. The crazy fools! Don’t they know the pool is for decoration, not for swimming in? Lifetime ban from swanky clubs, apparently. Oh, the shame of it.

Welcome to Optimism would like to make it clear that we in no way endorse this type of reckless behaviour. And to anyone considering emulating the foolish youngsters above in their apparent combination of stimulant abuse and swimming pools, we say: remember what happened to Brian Jones.

After our barbecue on Friday afternoon, we went on for a party at ‘trendy’ local venue, Shoreditch House. There was a Vegas theme with Elvis (who was strangely reminiscent of our own Ben Walker), showgirls, gambling and, inevitably, drinking.
