Kaiser Chiefs’ fans challenge W+K designers

W+K creates data viz to celebrate Kaiser Chiefs’ fan artworks

Since the launch of the Kaiser Chiefs' bespoke album creation tool we've been massively impressed by the creativity and beauty of some of the designs. So we've worked with the band to create a data viz of the fan album. As you scan the designs the album covers flip over like record sleeves to reveal the user name of the fan who created the design. If you click on the cover it takes you through to the fan page where you can buy that fan's version of 'The Future is Medieval'.

This week saw the launch of James Ramsden's wonderful book Small Adventures in Cooking (aka a chance to drinks lots of champagne and hobnob with the who's who of food and cookery).

James, a long time W+K  collaborator, is famed for his food culture blog and popular Secret Larder supper club held in the living room of his North London flat. 'Small Adventures in Cooking' is an accessible look at easy to pull together recipes and how small tweaks and explorations can hoist food beyond the everyday. James covers a wide range of eating oppprtunities from fast feasts, swanky suppers, lazy lunches to late-night munchies. Yum.

A special thanks to the W+K team who've supported James along the way: former Platformers Katie Harrison and Nicole Karelakas, plus Alex Franklin, Robbie Maynard, Nico Engelbrecht and Nev Brook. Will Hooke also gets a big gold interactive star for his Twitter # strategy that creates discussion around specific dishes with hints and tips. A cookery book first.
