Marketing to women by not marketing to women?

Our work for Finish ("Dishes") was recently included in Guardian piece featuring gender stereotype-busting ads, just in time for International Women's Day (today, 8 March). They wrote:

It might sound surprising, and almost inconceivable in a way, but I think Finish Dishes campaign could be one of the most gender progressive campaigns of 2015: going beyond the issue of who does the dishes is actually the best way to de-gender domestic chores. Let’s talk to both genders equally, as humans first – their sex is irrelevant. Advertising has the power to lead the discussion for equality.

W+K London Takes Two Top Spots on Warc 100

W+K London recently landed two top spots on the Warc 100, a ranking of advertising campaigns and international agencies “based on performance in effectiveness and strategy awards from around the world.” Tracking over 2,000 individual winners across various awards, Warc “focuses on marketing that makes a difference, driving business performance or changing consumer behaviour,” and showcases “the world’s smartest strategies, and the people and organisations behind them.”

W+K London’s “Holiday Spam” for Three “Feel At Home” was the top ranked UK campaign on Warc’s league table. We were also named the Number One UK Independent Agency on the list of the World’s 100 Best Creative Agencies.
