Welcome to Optimism

Sainsbury’s Table Squish

The British summertime is notorious for its unreliable weather, yet we need only the slightest ray of sunshine to inspire us to invite all our friends round for a meal shared in the fresh air.
A table full of food for all the family and friends means little space for all those extra delicious bits. Table Squish celebrates that moment of pandemonium trying to fit all the plates on the table through the lens of Tetris, everyone’s favourite ’90s throwback.
The 30″ TVC is accompanied by print and DOOH, which are out around the UK from today.
The film was directed by Tubby Brother, post by Time Based Arts with sound by Wave.

Amy Lamé gives us a lesson in optimism

This morning we welcomed Amy Lamé, author, activist and London’s first ever Night Czar, into the office to give her take on what optimism means in today’s society.

Full of personal learnings, hard-hitting stats and even a meditation session voiced by KD Lang, Amy explored the impact world events are having on optimism and what we can do to encourage a more optimistic outlook.

Amy also discussed her role as London Night Czar and her battle to protect the capital’s vulnerable nightlife, revealing that in the past five years, London has lost half its nightclubs and more than 40% of its music venues.

Massive thanks to LGBT+ activist Amy for providing the food for thought during Pride month and W+Ked, our internal training programme, for organising.
