They all laughed when Ollie’s sunflowers died after one day. (He put them on the wee bit of flat roof next to the studio window and they were burned to a crisp by the fiery East London sun. But he left the pots there and now, a few months later, just see how his weeds are doing. Bloody lovely, thank you very much.

Last night witnessed the inaugural convening of Wieden + Kennedy’s Intemperance Society.  A few good men and a good few drinks.  All the men at Wieden and Kennedy are tee-total, so the society was set up as a means for us to try beer, to see if we might take to it.

I can happily report that no fewer than all of us reached an advanced state of refreshment.
