Welcome to Optimism

on the terrace

Perkins_and_sophie

The basement may be flooded with crap but up on the roof the terrace is finished and young creatives scamper, frolic and lounge in the Spitalfields sun, breathing deep of the pub-fug-traffic-exhaust-toilet whiff-cooking-smells-building-site-dust-fumes that constitute the fresh air of a London summer. Here we see Ian Perkins and Sophie Bodoh, cracking a creative breakthrough for a blue-chip brand.

Maybe we should have a bit of a caption competition here for Perky and Sophie could be saying to each other?

more crap

Out_of_order_2

Posted eralier this week: we have now occupied the new 3rd floor extension. Six months in the planning, another six in the construction, and in one weekend we fill it with our crap.

And now, following a plumbing problem, there’s also the basement that we have filled in a weekend with our crap. UK hit by floods and Wieden + Kennedy London no exception.

Office manager Nat not very happy about wading through raw sewage in her strappy summer sandals. We may have to acquire a pair of agency wellies.
