The Guardian on Cog

Hondacog

The Guardian recently revisited the story behind “Cog,” the W+K advert which took months of planning, sixty takes and three days to complete — all leading toward a final product that remains a standout of the past 15 years. Our Tony Davidson on “Cog”:

“The idea, the PR story, is that you do it for real. That’s as important as the film itself – the fact that Honda, as an engineering company, took these things to pieces, did this thing and spent months in studios. That’s part of the magic of it.”

Kitchen Close-Ups

For our latest set of Finish work, we took a 360-degree zoom lens to six small spaces to show homeowners how to create room for much-needed essentials — like (cough) a dishwasher, naturally, and the dish tablets to accompany it.

When you live in cramped quarters, seeing the space potential in the smallest flat or home doesn’t come easy. But the six real homeowners we featured on digital design platform The Tiny Kitchens Tour prove it’s possible to clear clutter, curate a stylish interior, and make room for dishwasher all at once. Treble win.

The Tiny Kitchens Tour is a fully immersive, 360-degree experience that takes site visitors into these homes, highlighting how their actual owners have made the most of their spaces to create beautiful, practical rooms. From a rustic, DIY houseboat to an eccentric artist’s home to a Scandinavian-style kitchen, the rooms featured on The Tiny Kitchens Tour span a range of various styles, each featuring useful tips for storing away unneeded items and making more room for things that matter.
