Campaign school report league table

This is 'school report' week in Campaign, when they print their assessment of agencies' performance over the last year and award marks out of nine. They present this in alphabetical order rather than as a table. But we all like tables, so for handy reference, here's the 2010 school report ranking (with media-only agencies removed).

9 Adam & Eve, AKQA, Mother, Ogilvy One

Albion, CHI & Partners, CMW, DDB, RKCR/Y&R, VCCP, Wieden + Kennedy

7 18 Feet & Rising, Archibald Ingall Stretton, AMV BBDO, BBH, Chemistry, EHS 4D Group, Glue Isobar, Grey, Karmarama, Kitcatt Nohr Digitas, Lida, Publicis, Rapp, TMW, Work Club

6 Beta, Brooklyn Brothers, Brothers and Sisters, Draft FCB, Elvis, Euro RSCG, Golley Slater, HMDG, Iris, LBi, Leo Burnett, M&C Saatchi, Meteorite, O&M, Partners Andrews Aldridge, Poke, Red Brick Road, Saatchi & Saatchi, The Union, Wunderman

5 Beattie McGuinness Bungay, Dentsu, DHM, JWT, Krow Communications, Leith, McCann Erickson, Naked, Profero, Proximity, Quiet Storm, Sapient Nitro, TBWA, WCRS

4 Fallon, Leagas Delaney

3 Agency Republic, DLKW Lowe, Lean Mean Fighting Machine, Rapier

Key:

9 = outstanding 8 = excellent 7 = good 6 = satisfactory 5 = adequate 4 = below average 3 = poor 2 = a year to forget 1 = survival in question

We got an 8 ('excellent') so we can't complain. But they commented that we had 'a tendency to play seecond fiddle to the network's Portland office.' Must try harder this year.

Crystal’s version of Lurpak ‘kitchen odyssey’

As part of their grad recruitment campaign Saatchi and Saatchi asked applicants to choose an ad, explain what they like about it, and recreate it in any way they want. One young lady did a very convincing recreation of our Lurpak Kitchen Odyssey spot on a slightly smaller budget than we had for the original.

Nice job, Crystal! Good luck with the application. (Thanks to Paul Silburn at Saatchi's for drawing our attention to this.)
