Culture Club to the rescue

For once, the weatherman was right. It's a scorcher today and London is officially hotter than the surface of the sun. 

We're all melting here in the office and our laptops are on the brink of exploding. So imagine our joy when we discovered that our very own Culture Club had called the heatwave hotline and summoned an ice cream van to rescue us with some icy treats. 

Now that we've all cooled down, we've perked up a bit. All hail Culture Club! Rock stars. 

Oh and don't tell IT, but our laptops are a still just as hot, but *little* bit stickier.

Cannes

Cannes Lions has been and gone. There may be a few tired (and sunburned) souls around the office today, but we're thrilled with the recognition we received for our work: we and our brilliant production partners ended up lugging home 10 Lions for our work. 

Honda 'The Other Side' was awarded golds in storytelling and interactive video in Cyber, a Film gold in personal screens and Daniel Wolfe/Somesuch won a gold for direction in Film Craft. Factory took home a Film Craft gold in sound design and a silver in Cyber for music and sound design.

Two of our other brands were also honoured in Saturday's ceremony: Finish 'Dishes' won a silver Lion in Film for household goods, and our Lurpak 'Freestyle' film produced by MJZ bagged a silver in Film Craft for editing, and two bronze Film Craft Lions for cinematography and direction. 
 
Congratulations to all the winners and the survivors.
