Run London full in 24 hours

Run London 2004 drew 30,000 registrations in 24 hrs. Amazing! It just shows how much energy and excitement Run London is able to generate. The Go Nocturnal idea seems to have captured people’s imagination in a way that even we couldn’t have anticipated. It’s been a long old slog but what we have seen over the past 24 hrs makes it all worthwhile. Of course, now we all have to get in training for the run.

Metro goes Nocturnal

On Monday 4th October The Metro Newspaper reclaimed the night with the launch of their first ever evening edition in homage to Nike’s 4th annual Run London event. Since this year’s event will be a night run we created a campaign called ‘Go Nocturnal’ which is about encouraging Londoners to try running at night. The insight behind the campaign is that for 50% of the year Londoners wanting to go on a run on the streets or in the parks have no option but to go early morning or in the evening – normally when it is dark. Nike want to encourage and empower Londoners to try running at night by launching a whole new reflective product range as well as suggesting well lit routes and safety recommendations.

The run is taking place on 28th November. Sign up at www.runlondon.com
But be quick about it. Word is that places are being filled in record time.
