We get through a lot of meat here.

Relatively quiet day in the office so far this morning as people straggle in following yesterday’s bombings. Tubes seem mostly to be working but we said to people last night not to come in if the journey was going to be a nightmare.

One of the bombs hit a train travelling between Aldgate and Liverpool Street, the nearest station to the office. We’re very lucky no-one here was hurt. There’s bound to be some disruption to normal service today but what are you going to do, stay indoors and draw the curtains?  Nope, you’re going to come to work as usual. You have to get on with life and say bollocks to the terrorists, let’s carry on with doing some great stuff. (Provided this doesn’t involve actually endangering your life for the sake of some adverts.)
