We caught the Maglev (magnetic levitation) train to the airport for our flight home. It’s the world’s fastest train and, so that you can appreciate this, there’s a digital display of the speed in the carriages. At 441kph we were passing the cars on the motorway alongside as if they were standing still. Excellent. And only about £5 for a VIP class ticket, which means you get an actual velvet rope in front of the door to your carriage.
