On Sunday, Ryan and Katherine got involved in a spot of campaigning with Save The Children:
We travelled down in the campaign Battle Bus (thank you Honda for lending us a very nice new car) to the Brighton Festival, where Gordon Brown MP was giving a talk, with a gang of SCUK suppporters and staff. We’ve been working on the healthcare campaign with SCUK, to get Gordon Brown MP to influence the G8 committee in June to help African countries make healthcare free for children. We’ve spent the last couple of months searching for all the Gordon Browns in the UK to support us in our quest for free healthcare for the world’s poorest children. If all the other Gordon Browns in the UK say Yes to free healthcare, so should Gordon Brown the MP. We were accompanied on Sunday by one of our Gordon Browns, (a very nice man from Kent) and his lovely wife. Unfortunately our Gordon Brown didn’t get to meet Gordon Brown MP, but we got lots of interest from the photographers and journalists, and drummed up a lot of support from the Brighton crowds.
Have a look on the website to see all the Gordons we’ve met so far, and help us find lots more! (We need real Gordon Browns though please. Keith has just told me that his dad is called Gordon Grey, which is almost right, but not quite. Sorry Keith)

(The fantastic illustration on our tshirts was done by Ben Grimm, it’s lots of little children making up the face of Gordon Brown)
