In Motion September 1

In Motion September 2

Very flattering editorial in this month's 'In Motion' – 'the international magazine of creative production'. The article looks at the world's top ten most awarded TV commercials of the last decade, as ranked by the Gunn Report. First equal in the top ten are two of Wieden + Kennedy's Honda ads: "Cog" and "Grrr".
'"They (Honda) completely redefined the automotive category,' says Mark Tutssel, the chief creative officer of Leo Burnett Worldwide. 'Both "Cog" and "Grrr" are testimonies to remarkable imagination, exquisite craft and, most importantly, work that truly moves people.'
W+K CD Tony D is quoted as saying,'I hope our work has helped people understand who Honda really are and what they are all about…I hope it's made a small difference in our industry and drives people on to do even better in the future.'

“Badges?… We don’t need no steenking badges!”

Badge-off

Today saw the eagerly awaited announcement of the results of the inaugural Wieden + Kennedy London Monthly Badge-off. We recently acquired a badge-making machine and decided to have a monthly competition to design badges. Winners will be made up in a limited edition available in a big jar on reception. The theme for the first badge-off was 'move'. ECD Kim (above) judged the entrants.
