Welcome to Optimism

I think I’m turning Japanese

Hello from Tokyo where we've been doing some Nokia
research.

Key differences between us and them:

Our Tokyo office:

We do illustrations, they photograph
themselves naked.

001

We have a bike rack, they have skateboards
(but do they have a skateboard scheme, eh Bronwen?)

002

We’re next door to Rossis, they’re
next door to a brand new arts center (their spelling, not mine) with a Picasso
exhibition.

003

004

Around town:

We have Ronny, they have dancing
policemen.

005

We’re in Nathan Barley, they’re in
Blade Runner.

006

We have tea and (admittedly very good)
biscuits in meetings, they have adult toys.

007

We’re tall, they’re maybe not as tall.

008

That’s that nation cracked then.

Tony D on reception

If you're calling in to the W+K switchboard this morning, you may experience some delays in the service. We have a new temp on reception, Tony Davidson.

Tony on phone

This may be taking 'walk in stupid' a step too far. I don't think we've lost any clients so far as a result but it's a possibility.

Here's Gail explaining to Tony how to use the switchboard.

Managing the agency ' 3D brand experience'  is all about attention to detail.
