Earlier this year, we helped spruce up Positive East’s London HQ. Led by Ronny Harmes and Dee Fenning, our W+K team gave some much-needed TLC to the centre’s café, drop-in area and counselling rooms.

Last week, Positive East honoured us with a plaque thanking us for our contribution. A very touching gesture from a charity which does amazing work at the forefront of HIV service and care; supporting people from point of HIV diagnosis to longer term care.

This morning, we heard from the wonderful Marc Lewis, Dean at the School of Communication Arts, as part of our W+Ked speakers programme.

Following World Mental Health Day earlier this month, Marc visited the agency to share his thoughts and learnings on living in flow, finding your purpose and the importance of mindfulness. Touching on his own experience, Marc also discussed the daily tools we can to help us live in the present, including limiting technology and guided reflection. He also threw in an anecdote of how he brought sex lines back to South Africa, for good measure.

Marc left us with this: “When you love what you do; people will love what you do too.”
