Welcome to Optimism

clone zone live

At first glance they may look like two extras from Discovery Channel's 'Deadliest Catch'. However, it is in fact, Martin and Guy coincidentally dressed as trawlermen for today's dreary weather. The dashing couple are continuing the recent sartorial spate of clone zone live sightings at Hanbury Street.

sporty girls

We did a shout-out for sporty girls on this blog last week in search of the lucky 20 who will form our Nike Girls Team later this year. We carefully chose almost 30 of you to join us on Thursday night as we kicked-off the selection process.

Ranging from rugby to cheerleading, the girls represented a wide range of disciplines but what the girls shared in common was a pure dedication to their training and a passion for their performance.

There were hands on activities engaging the girls, with plenty of opinion-swapping, collage-forming, experience-sharing tasks – and even a group hula-hooping session to get those sporty pulses racing.

Kerry Williams, Team GB's Hockey hopeful for 2012, talked openly about
what sport means to her and shared her ambitions for the Olympics with
the girls.

Going forward, the successful girls will formally be invited to join
the Nike Girls Team, the online research community where over the
course of a year they will be invited to share opinions on product and
views on ads. More coverage as it happens.
