Emeco & Coca-Cola Collaboration

Ben and Sophie have created this wonderful press ad to celebrate the recent collaboration between Emeco and Coca-Cola.

This is the 111 Navy Chair – made entirely out of 111 recycled plastic Coca-Cola bottles. Available for sale from June, the chairs are modelled after the original aluminium Emeco Navy Chair designed in 1944 for the U.S. Navy.

The chair was officially launched at last month's Milan Furniture Show where we had designed Emeco's stand. To mark the collaboration with Coca-Cola, we froze the first 111 Navy Chair that was built in a one tonne block of ice, which was on display at the show. It took more than two weeks to cast the ice cube…. and once the show was finished, all that was left was a beautiful chair and a giant puddle.

GROW

There is change happening here in London. We’re leaving spring and about to enter into summer, the first season of Platform is almost complete, and our agency is beginning it’s own evolution as we continue to have talks about how we’ll move the agency forward. With an empty window at our disposal (and realizing the lack of plant-life in the office), we thought it might be nice to represent all this wonderful growth in a tangible way.

In the same spirit, Guerrilla gardening is all about taking your environment and making what you want it to be.

As you watch our window sprout, we hope it will become a pleasant reminder of all the exciting change that’s growing around us.
