PLAY PEN EXHIBITION

Last night The Cole played host to the fabulous PlayPen, a show conceived and executed by BA Illustration students from Camberwell College of Art. A visual feast of geometric shapes and primary colours, this interactive exhibition stressed the importance of play and sought to teach adults to have fun again.

PlayPen were:

Bea Wilson, Jimmy PatrickKunyalala Ndlovu, Lizzie Towndrow, Megan Sinclair, Matthias Geisler, and Spencer Walton

In addition to all the great graphic work there were 'ride-on' naked people, Sonic on the SEGA megadrive, Skittles vodka, a massive cardboard fort and a Twister inspired photobooth (images to be found here soon).

Was a great evening, thanks to everyone who came!

The phrase ‘ball of chalk’ is apparently cockney rhyming slang for ‘walk’. It is also the name of a newspaper put together by Wieden + Kennedy’s creative incubator Platform , in conjunction with Newspaper Club.

The 'ball of chalk' paper takes the form of an analogue augmented reality tour round London's East End – our, er, 'manor'. Here's how it works:
