Campaign toasts W+K’s stellar year
We’re pleased to report that W+K London made something of a splash in Campaign’s end of year issue.
In the top 15 films of the year, our work placed #1 (Nike – Nothing Beats a Londoner), #4 (Three – Phones Are Good) and #8 (Sainsbury’s – The Big Night). The Sainsbury’s work was also named Pick of the Month and the omnipresent Plug Boy got a special mention.
Our ECDs, Tony Davidson and Iain Tait, were named #2 in the top UK creatives list, with Campaign opining: “Tait and Davidson aren’t ones for industry posturing, letting their department’s work speak for itself – and did it ever in 2018. Wieden+Kennedy London was responsible for the most acclaimed ad of the year, Nike’s Nothing beats a Londoner. The pair could have rested on their laurels, but there was great work to come from Three, Honda and TK Maxx.”
Finally, creatives Tom Bender and Tom Corcoran were interviewed by Campaign’s Brittaney Kiefer on their stellar year, which included award-winning work for Nike and Three. Check out their interview here.
