2016 was the year of the filter bubble. Twitter and Instagram were no longer showing posts in chronological order. Our Facebook News Feed filtered out everything except the things it wanted us to read. But it isn’t just social media platforms that use filters. All of us filter and edit our posts before putting on social media to make ourselves look cool. We don’t tell real stories anymore.
