W+K’s Latest New Starters
The past few months have seen a handful of new faces wandering our halls. Get to know the latest crop of new additions to the W+K family.
Maisie Willoughby, Creative Producer
Maisie was at Anomaly prior to joining W+K. Her favourite place in London is the Southbank for fish and chips with a great view, all under a fiver. In her spare time she shoots photography, and for the past ten years she’s been documenting the relationship between women and nudity, which has meant taking a lot of nude photos of her friends!
Mico Toledo, Creative
Mico spent the three months prior to joining us travelling in Southeast Asia, where he saw two blue whales in Sri Lanka and climbed Japan’s Mt. Fuji. He’s originally from São Paulo, but also lived in Portugal and Spain before landing in London. When we asked Mico to share a secret about himself, he admitted that he once ran away from a tiny but mean squirrel.
Juan Sevilla, Creative
Juan was born in Sagunto, a little village by the sea in Valencia. He joins us from Lola, a global creative agency in Madrid. Juan’s grandfather was the first goalkeeper in the history of Real Madrid FC, but — unfortunately or not, depending on how you look at things — he’s an ‘anti-Madridista’. (His preferences: Atlético and Barcelona.) Juan is still getting to know London after a couple of months in the city, but suggestions for places that serve great beer are welcome.
Billy Worthington, Creative
Billy graduated just over a year ago in Auckland, where he and George (see below) interned at Colenso BBDO before moving onto a three-month placement at Johannes Leonardo in New York. One of his more memorable recent travel experiences was taking a motorcycle road trip through France, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium and the Netherlands. He has a soft spot for the Brockley Barge in London.
George Howes, Creative
George joined W+K London with Billy just a few weeks ago, and he made stops in Lisbon, Madrid and Amsterdam, where he met up with Billy. He’s an Auckland boy who was born in the UK, and he’s a huge fan of M&S for the chicken and bacon.
Heidi Atwal, PR Manager
Heidi is a native Californian who still hasn't adjusted to London weather after five-and-a-half years in the city. She worked at a fine arts company before joining W+K and also spent time writing about culture, food and fashion on a freelance basis. She has an irrational, unironic love of bunnies and practices calligraphy in her spare time.
