What. A. Week. It's just been one thing after another over the last seven days and the Internet can barely keep up. First the news emerged that a man in Cleveland had been holding three women captive for the last 10 years – an incredible and shocking story that beggars belief. What emerged from this was an interview with the man who saved them, a neighbour by the name of Charles Ramsey. This guy is such a hero, in more ways than one. Not 24 hours after the incident, he had been duly immortalised in Songified form. To quote Mr. Dave Brodie, "It's the mark of a good tragedy."

In addition to this, Sir Alex 'Fergie' Ferguson announced his retirement to the world ending the reign of the beautiful game's most successful gaffer. Twitter suddenly turned into an outpouring of praise for the man, however I will personally never forgive him for booting a boot at everyone's favourite underwear model David Beckham. Please Alex, not the face. NOT THE FACE.

In app news, Snapchatmania has well and truly taken control, with a reported 150m photos uploaded to the service everyday. However, tech heads have found a way to recover those seemingly 'deleted' photos making it perhaps not as private as was once thought…

Behave yourselves out there guys.
