Each year staff
at Wieden + Kennedy get an amazing benefit where they get two days off to go and do
something for charity.

Donna
recently took her two days and went to volunteer at The London Centre for
Children with Cerebral Palsy.

The London Centre for
Children with Cerebral Palsy aims to inspire children with Cerebral Palsy to
develop independence, confidence and self-esteem and to achieve their full
potential. Around 1 in 400 babies a year are born with cerebral Palsy. Taking
into consideration each child’s family and support networks an estimated 50,000
people are impacted by cerebral Palsy in the London region alone.

Donna Writes:

Over the two days I
spent time with each age group of children ranging from 5 years old to 10 years
old. I met the most amazing children who constantly smile and laugh, trying so
hard not to let their disability stop them, such an inspiration.

I also met the most
amazing staff who ran the centre and they have inspired me to do more good.

I would like to thank everyone at The London Centre for Children with Cerebral Palsy for the for the most wonderful two days.
