The Camberwell College of Art’s current window installation for our This Is Why We Meet project www.thisiswhywemeet.com, has been picked up by Channel 3 News in New Zealand.  A passing Reuters journalist saw our pop-up installation in the window of our offices on Hanbury Street, a take on a giant newsagent’s window, and was intrigued enough to come back to interview W+K’s Laura Vent, the curator of the project – and the students involved.

The students, (Philip Li, Carl Guilhon, Joel Stephens and Chris King) have created the unique pop-up advertising agency called ‘POP ME UP’.  Part-performance, part-entrepreneurial, the Pop Me Up office sells advertising space to the general public, local businesses, any organisation in fact – local residents and artists Gilbert and George participated this week.  For £1 a day, you can advertise anything you want, in any way you want in your space.
