Nike Saturday
Saturday was a real Nike day for the W+K team. (And that's without even taking the Olympics into account.)
First game of the season
First game of the
season at Arsenal, Stu, Anna, Karrelle and Andy went to a Nike hospitality
day at the Emirates. The game wasn't the best – first match
rustyness (is that a word?) – but the food was good and it's always a pleasure to start the day
with a bucks fizz.
Midnight madness
Midnight Madness is
an established basketball brand within the UK. This year we built on
the creative identity of two years ago and challenged young ballers to
'Prove It' and show that they have the ability to be the best in the
UK.
This summer Midnight
Madness road shows have taken place in ten UK cities to find talented ballers
that could show their skills on finals night at Wembley Arena.
This weekend a load of us saw
some of the best under and over 21 ballers compete for the honour to
represent the Midnight Madness travelling teams against some of the
best ballers in the US. We also saw a brilliant dunk competition and
an amazing performance from Hip Hop artist Busta Rhymes.

Manchester United first game of the season
This is the third year
that Nike is supplying the official ball for the Premiership. New
advances in the ball this season mean that it delivers more
accuracy and power. We thought this was a great opportunity for Nike
and fans to demand more goals in the Premiership.
We had ads running in
match day programmes and on perimeter boards. But top of the billing
has to go to the 45,000 fans at Man United all holding up cards that had
placed on their seats before the game, to spell out the plea: 'More goals please'. Nice.
