Obrigado Sao Paulo
Most people take a long weekend in say Paris, Florence or Berlin but we went a little further afield in the name of work to the gloriously sunny city of Sao Paulo.
To say hello to our Nokia Brazil clients and our friends Fabio and Augusto and the folks at DM9.
After our meetings Fabio took us on a tour of the DM9 offices.
Worringly Augusto is the only person in the world to get excited about getting Neil’s band’s CD. Probably all that sun.
Apparently Sao Paulo has the highest sales in the world of Ferraris and helicopters
It also has the largest Japanese community outside of Japan, so the sushi was goooood!
We stayed at the watermelon-shaped Hotel Unique.
Where we became rather fond of its round windows
And its rooftop terrace with red swimming pool.
My feet even got to see the sun.
After our meetings we had a chance to check out Rue Oscar Freire where the new Nokia Flagship store is to be opened. The street is full of some amazing shop designs.
and we also spotted some graffiti by Os Gemeos (the Twins)
We managed to squeeze in a spot of chillaxing as Matteo Fruiti Di Bosko likes to call it.
The only thing we didn’t get time to see was Carnival
We’ll save that for next time.
