Here’s a promo I worked on for my mates in the PRC for their forthcoming single released 6^th October.

I didn’t really do anything just got my mate Dave Daniels to do what he does. He’s a great animation director, amazing graphic shapes and movements working with sound is his bag. He did a pretty mean job for us on a Honda FRV campaign a couple of years ago. We didn’t have any money so thanks to Dave for very kindly offering to make this in his own time.

The idea was to visualise each instrument, kind of like that iTunes visualiser but better.

We thought doing something that focused on the music made you listen to the track. There’s plenty of promos where you end up looking at the film rather than listening to the music. And that’s what it’s all about.

It’s a psychedelic/graphic thing.

It’s psychographic. Yeah, that’s what it is.

I know I’d like this band even if I didn’t know them.
