Carnival films are producing Tony Marchant’s new series Whistleblowers that will be on air on ITV in September this year. It’s an investigative drama series about a husband and wife who are both lawyers who have become jaded with what they do and the lack of difference they actually make. So they have set up their own firm and ‘do nothing more heroic than tell the truth’ – exposing corruption, searching for justice. Same sort of mission statement as Superman. Each week a new whistleblower arrives with a new case for the couple. (Hence the title.)

Episode 5 is about the drinks industry and how a distiller is deliberately targeting underage drinkers. a couple of scenes in the episode take place in an ad agency – the agency who promotes the alcohol in question. So instead of creating their own office they used w+k  just for the day. (Because obviously our office looks exactly the sort of place in which such evil campaigns might be plotted.)

Daz, Emma, Katherine, Amy & Jessica and Bella were all extras for the day. They only shot 3 scenes – obviously our guys didn’t have to say anything – but were background office people, reacting to what was happening around us. Watch out for them on TV.
