Welcome to Optimism

where the rubber hits the road

Jazz

We've launched a new print campaign for Honda. We needed to show the cars and we wanted to do it in a way that hadn't been done
before. Our idea was to take them from a real life situation and put them in a gallery – displaying the vehicle as a piece of art.

The roads featured in each
of the executions are modeled on sections of real roads. The best bits of road were chosen and
precisely rebuilt in a studio to be photographed.  For the Civic Type R ad belowType R enthusiasts across the UK
were asked to nominate their favourite driving roads and the winner, the A82,
has been immortalised in the campaign.

You can see the exact stretch of road at this web link. 'Our' bit of road is marked with the green arrow, not the red pointer.

bet on the APG awards

APG awards book

The APG Awards are ‘probably the highest quality strategy
awards in the world’. To win one of the big prizes will make someone's career.
In keeping with the prestige and gravity of the occasion, there is a book open at
Mcbookie.co.uk
on the forthcoming Grand Prix result.

Our Nike 5 entry is in with a shout at 10:1 (despite Graeme
having put a grand on himself and Colman to romp home first) and our Nokia
Supernova entry is a long-shot 33:1 that could yield a big pay-off for some
brave and lucky punters.

Strong showing from overseas with JWT Mumbai and Campaign
Palace currently joint favourites at 5:1.
If you fancy a flutter, visit Mcbookie.co.uk and place your bets.

And if that gets you going, I see elsewhere on the same site
that Fancypants Flyer is at 9:2 in the 3.19 Millersfield. Come on, my cocker!
