Nokia 'Music Almighty'
TV Breaks Today

30.06.2008 | New Work

Wieden + Kennedy London (in conjunction with Picasso Pictures) have created a TV campaign for Nokia to continue activity for the 5310 and N78 handsets. Following on from the iconic print campaign that broke in December 2007, each execution, created by Fabian Berglund and Ida Gronblom, features one of the handsets attached to a pair of beautifully illustrated headphones.

Each of the headsets represent a different genre of music – from electro to rock ‘n’ roll, pop to hip-hop – celebrating the passion that people have for music. With these executions, Nokia celebrates the power of music as a means of self-expression, while also embracing its ability to bring us all closer together.

Nokia 'Dance' Breaks

04.06.2008 | New Work

Wieden + Kennedy London, in collaboration with directors Karni and Saul, have created a new global spot for Nokia, to promote the Nokia 5000 phone, and to celebrate phone photo sharing.

The 'Dance' spot, created by Ben Walker and Matt Gooden, has been composed entirely from still images, designed to show the excitement and fun of photo sharing, via mms and Bluetooth. Each still image and human figure, lines up with the following character, creating a dance composed of hundreds of individual poses.

The music track was composed especially for the spot by composer Gordon McQuilten using eclectic samples and sounds from around the world, to reflect the phones' radio recording and sharing capabilities.
