Latest Guardian Brand
Work Breaks

20.03.2008 | Awards

Wieden + Kennedy London has launched the next phase of their brand campaign for the Guardian. A poster campaign has launched on Farringdon Road, London, followed up by a press campaign in the Guardian. Other executions will follow throughout the year.

The colourful campaign, created by Chris Groom, Ian Perkins and Sophie Bodoh, builds on the success of last year’s campaign, which was the Guardian’s first brand advertising in a decade.

The new executions continue to breathe life into the core values upon which the Guardian is founded, aiming to make the brand feel fresh, accessible and interesting. Use of pure white space and bold colour echoes The Guardian’s own strong design credentials, and commitment to using colour on every page.

Wieden + Kennedy’s original brand campaign for The Guardian broke in March 2007 to great success, and is up for two D&AD awards.
