Wieden + Kennedy London roll out their first campaign for Nokia this month, since their appointment as the global lead agency for the Mobile Phones group in July 2007.
The campaign called ‘Music Almighty’ features two new Nokia music handsets - the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic and the Nokia 5610 XpressMusic and will run across print, online and radio throughout December and January.
The creative execution features an iconic print campaign for the launch. Each execution features one of the new handsets attached to a pair of beautifully illustrated headphones.
Created by W + K creative team, Fabian Berglund and Ida Gronblom, each headset represents a different genre of music - from hip hop to rock ‘n’ roll, disco to dance – celebrating the passion that people have for music. With these executions, Nokia celebrates the power of music as a means of self-expression, while also embracing its ability to bring us all closer together and share experiences.
Will Harris, Nokia UK Marketing Director said, ‘The Music Almighty campaign is the start of a great new partnership between Nokia and W + K. The Nokia XpressMusic range is for people passionate about their music and this new work leaves you in no doubt that you’re getting a music mobile”.
The press, radio and online elements of the campaign went live on 7th December, followed by the outdoor and bus sides on 17th December.
