Last night the annual London International Awards took place. A ceremony lasting 4 hours and awards ranging from best Scandinavian Calendar to Best Use of the Web in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
Awards were given to agencies from around the world.
We picked up 2 awards. The first was Best Automotive Ad for 'Impossible Dream' and the second for Best Sound design for 'Choir.'
Unfortunately Chris Groom could not get to the awards because of work restraints but Louise Arnold kindly received the award on his behalf. Ruby and Jo did not seem to mind! (click on picture link below).

Wieden + Kennedy London was the world's 6th most creatively awarded agency in 2006, according to the latest Gunn Report.
We were the only agency with two commercials in the top ten most awarded - Honda 'Impossible Dream' at number 5 and Honda 'Choir' at number 10. The number 6 ranking was an improvement of one place on 2005.
The Gunn Report combines the winners from the world's top regional, national and global creative awards schemes. Agencies and ads are awarded points for each qualifying win.

On Monday 30th October our Honda 'Choir' ad won 2 gongs at the BTAA Craft Awards, which took place at The Royal Lancaster Hotel on Hyde Park. Choir won Best Sound Design and Best Editing.
The Craft Awards were inaugurated in 1996 in response to calls from the production industry to further recognise the British skills and crafts employed in commercials production that are in world-wide demand. Twenty-one categories are judged independently by panels of five jurors, each of whom is expert in the particular craft.
