Sainsbury’s – Apprentice Account Executive

Want to cut your teeth in the advertising industry while working on the best retail brand in the UK? Now’s your chance. We’re looking for a confident, creative and entrepreneurial Account Executive to work on Sainsbury’s.

Taking on a 15-month apprenticeship role, you’ll support the team so they can deliver world-beating creative work. Gaining a shedload of knowledge about the running of the account, you’ll become the ‘go to person’ for both the client and agency when it comes to coordinating.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide the core team with any internal support they need
  • Look after client logistics
  • Help prepare for big meetings
  • Manage internal reports and competitive reviews
  • Keep abreast of important industry information

What we’re looking for in an Apprentice Account Executive:

  • Entrepreneurial and energetic spirit
  • A creative spark
  • Diligent, organised and confident with good social skills
  • Digitally savvy, with at least a couple of active social media profiles
  • A genuine passion for brands, communication and advertising

The small print:

  • To apply, you need to have at least five grade A*-C GCSEs or equivalent including English grade B or above
  • You can have a degree to be an apprentice but it must not be in a related field of study to Advertising/Digital Marketing
  • Any experience in the media industry is strongly preferred
